Innovators of Thailand
CREATIVE AND ART DIRECTON, CONCEPT, STRATEGY, USERFLOW

Intel Thailand wanted to run a digital campaign around the global Sponsors of Tomorrow branding. They also wanted to promote their Core i5 Processor and have the campaign run in conjunction with the Commart Thailand event. So we devised an online contest challenging the patriotic Thais to come up with ideas and innovations that could help make Thailand a better place. We gave them an online sketch pad where they could draw and write about their ideas. By submitting idea sketches, users generated a viral video which they could share and use to promote their ideas. Viewers could comment and vote on ideas through the gallery. On top of the grand prize, weekly prizes were also given out over the course of the 6-week campaign.

The homepage featured an "organic" Thailand of Tomorrow landscape. The skyline grew and became more futuristic as more and more innovative ideas were submitted and added into the collective idea cloud.

Viewers could browse through the gallery of ideas using the different category filters. They could also see which ideas had the most votes and were most popular.

On each individual idea page, viewers could leave comments and vote for the idea.

The accompanying viral video for each idea could also be accessed from here.

Personalised viral video.

By using the sketch pad tool, viewers could also express their ideas and innovations. By entering their information and a photo of themselves, viewers created a personalised viral video.

Due to overwhelming response, multiple prizes were given out weekly on top of the grand prize at the end of the 6-week campaign. Viewers were posting links to their ideas on local blogs campaigning for votes for best idea. There were ongoing discussions on local tech forums on how to hack the site to increase votes. We responded to the enthusiasm by recognising more ideas and sending thank you notes to over zealous viewers.
